The spirited and soaring journey of Radico Khaitan Limited is primarily a saga of Dr Lalit
Khaitan’s experience-led wisdom and courage. Dr. Khaitan has scripted an inspiring success
story for his brand that changed the perspective of the liquor industry in India over the last 5
decades.
Born in Kolkata, Dr Khaitan received education from Mayo College, Ajmer and St. Xavier’s
College, Kolkata. He acquired the company in 1972-73 with a lot of liabilities and succeeded in
transforming RKL from a bottler to a leading IMFL player in India. His unique management style
has helped maintain RKL as an ethical and transparent organisation with the highest corporate
governance standards.
Today, as the Chairman and Managing Director of Radico Khaitan Limited, he provides the
overall strategic direction to the Company. He has been instrumental in improving quality
standards and enhancing customer satisfaction, leading to substantial revenue growth and
increased market shares.
Dr. Khaitan has been a recipient of several professional awards, including the recent ‘Lifetime
Achievement Award’ bestowed on him by the UPDA in December 2017 for his remarkable
contribution to the Industry stands as an honourable attestation.
He has been associated with a number of developmental projects, has represented India with
several international delegations, and is involved in social & educational activities across India.

Mr Abhishek Khaitan is the brain behind Radico’s foray into the branded business. He started
his career in 1997 by spearheading the marketing division at Radico Khaitan Limited. The first
brand that he launched was 8PM Whisky- a runaway success; sold one million cases in the first
year itself and featured in the Limca Book of World Records
A visionary gifted with sharp entrepreneurial acumen, Abhishek was able to see Vodka as the
next emerging drink and was quick to launch Magic Moments Vodka. The tremendous success
of Magic Moments Vodka is a testimony to his astute business intelligence. Not only is Magic
Moments the largest selling vodka in India, it is also the 6th largest selling Vodka in the world.
As the Managing Director with over 2 decades of industry experience, he has been instrumental
in launching over 18 successful brands, of which 8 featured in the millionaire’s club. His
relentless pursuit for premiumisation of the portfolio continues with brands like Rampur Indian
Single Malt Whisky, The Spirit of Kashmyr, Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin & its Gold Edition,
Sangam World Malt Whisky, Spirit of Victory 1999 Pure Malt Whisky, etc.
Recognising his outstanding contribution to the Indian liquor industry and transformation of
Radico Khaitan, he has been conferred various awards, including the prestigious “Bhartiya
Udyog Ratan Award” by the Govt of India, “National Industrial Excellence Award” by the World
Economic Progress Society.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Engineering from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore and
has completed a Managerial Finance & Accounting course from Harvard, USA.

Mr Amar Singh joined Radico in 2022, bringing over three decades of experience. He holds a
Bachelor of Science from Meerut University and a Diploma in Industrial Fermentation &
Alcohol Technology from NSI, Kanpur. He also has a law degree from Meerut University.
Throughout his career, Mr Singh has held significant roles at companies like Pernod Ricard
India Ltd, Mankapur Chini Mills, Blue Water Breweries & Distilleries, and the Sentini
Group of Companies, Vijayawada. At Sentini Group, he served as Sr. Vice President of
Group Operations and Planning, showcasing his operational, strategic and leadership skills.
Mr Singh’s expertise and proven track record make him a valuable addition to Radico, where he
contributes his extensive knowledge in manufacturing and strategic planning.

Mr Tushar Jain holds an M.Sc. in Economics degree and an MBA in Finance from the Birla
Institute of Technology &Science (BITS Pilani). Mr Jain is also a Certified Irrigation Auditor from
the American Irrigation Association. He is an entrepreneur with over 25 years of industry
experience and is currently the Managing Director of Automat Industries and Smith International
Corporation.

Mr Sharad Jaipuria has over 30 years of experience in the textiles industry and is currently the
Chairman & Managing Director of Ginni International, a composite textile mill and is the
Chairman of Ginni Global, a renewable energy company. Mr Jaipuria is also the President of

Ms Sushmita Singha has over 30 years of experience working with domestic and international
organisations. Ms Singha holds a Diploma in Urban Town Planning from the Human

International and Hindustan Tin Works. She is an Honorary Member of BRICS Chamber of
Commerce & Industry and is a life member of INTACH, an organisation focused on
spearheading heritage awareness and conservation in India.

as the Deputy Managing Director at KLJ Plasticisers Limited, Mr Jain assumes responsibility for
the comprehensive management of the Chemicals Manufacturing Business, overseeing
operations across multiple plants situated in Silvassa, Gujarat, Qatar and Thailand.
