Partnering to Plug gaps in quality healthcare: Radico and Sanjeevani Hospital

Ensuring accessible healthcare in rural India is a daunting task that is rife with challenges, yet crucial for the overall development and well-being of these communities. An urgency for accessibility to quality healthcare, stems from the high prevalence of infectious diseases and the scarcity of resources in terms of facilities and qualified healthcare professionals to tackle these. Accessible healthcare can assist in early diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases.

Radico and Sanjeevani hospital have collaborated to enhance both accessibility and the quality of healthcare across nine villages. Their collaborative efforts focus on organizing health care camps across the villages of Jagdishpura, Pipra, Bargadiya, and Kamhariya under Jagdishpur Gram Panchayat; Banghusri, Purshottam Pur, Bargadiya, and Kanduni under Kanduni Gram Panchayat; and Kourasa village under Kourasa Gram Panchayat.

Each village out of the nine villages covered under this project will benefit through access to general health checkups, diagnostic tests and treatment for common illnesses twice a month.

Together, Radico and Sanjeevani hospital’s efforts will break through the major barriers of distance, lack of availability of medical infrastructure and limited access to medical specialists. Their spirited synergy to improve accessibility to quality healthcare in rural India will bring about a significant improvement in the health outcomes in those areas and ensure that more villagers are given the chance to avail the essential medical care and attention that is crucial for them.
