Radico Khaitan and SATHEE Foundation’s Collaborative Effort Towards a TB-Free Future

Tuberculosis (TB) poses a major health challenge in India with a quarter of the global cases reported from the country. To combat the high number of new and relapse cases annually, the government is taking firm and dedicated steps to reduce and control this disease.

NGOs and their partners have also collaborated to amplify the reach and impact of the “100 Days Intensive TB Campaign” which is one amongst the many initiatives of the Indian government that seeks to eliminate TB by 2025, ensuring that treatment and diagnostic services are available to underserved populations. This target is well ahead of the global one of 2030.

As part of the “100 Days Intensive TB Campaign,’’ Radico Khaitan, in alignment with its initiative to support community health and wellness, has partnered with The SATHEE Foundation (a dedicated NGO focusing on social welfare and healthcare projects, especially for the marginalized communities,) to prevent the spread of this disease and also care for those suffering from it.

Recently, this collaboration focused on Panday Nagar slum, Ghaziabad. They joined hands with The Health Department of Ghaziabad. The main objective of this initiative was to raise awareness about TB, provide care and offer support to TB patients, with the goal of reducing the incidence and impact of TB. This also underscored the commitment that Radico has towards contributing to health goals bearing a significant impact not only in India but globally too.
